Aucotec AG has released ELCAD/AUCOPLAN Version 2019. This release has incorporated a total of more than 60 enhancements that have been derived from your requirements and requests.


New Features of ELCAD/AUCOPLAN Version 2019
ELCAD/AUCOPLAN Version 2019 continues the ongoing evolution of the past years.
Already with the setup, we provide you with a multitude of additional language and data environments. Thus, multilingual environments are available for international organizations right from the beginning. From now on, the direct access to the New Features WebHelp provides your users with up-to-date information online.
With the new Product key dialog, there is a further innovation which enables you to manage your licenses in a very flexible manner. With ELCAD/AUCOPLAN 2019, you can now check out server licenses for a limited period of time and, in that period of time, use them on local work stations independent of the license server.
Moreover, the refined checks in the status list Working Status enable you to define efficient project status checks in which you do no longer have to ignore any error messages.
In ELCAD/AUCOPLAN 2019, AUCOTEC has incorporated a total of more than 60 enhancements that have been derived from your requirements and requests.
As in all our extensions, our focus has again been on the compatibility of your data and on an easier handling.

On creating standard strips as well as on working in the Terminal Block Designer, users can define whether a terminal is to be displayed in the parts list or not. However, this status information was not transferred into the parts list.

On saving drawings as Compact PDF, faulty tooltips were created in the PDF for item designations composed of project texts "\z" and fixed texts. However, the item designations themselves were correct in the PDF.

Deleting revisions in the drawings tree was only possible directly on the revision document or on the uppermost folder "Drawings". On all folder levels in-between, deleting revisions was not offered for selection on the shortcut menu.

In the ELCAD print dialog, there is the option "Sorting Instead of Grouping". However, the setting of this option was not saved in ELCAD for batch outputs. As a consequence, the option "Grouping" was always sent to the printer for batch outputs.

In the "External Documents" tree, it was not possible to delete documents on the uppermost folder "External Documents". On right-clicking, the function "Delete" was offered, but did not function.

In various ELCAD drawing editing dialogs, numbers and lines were illegible under Windows 10 as of a certain build.
This issue occurred, among others, in the following dialogs:
- In the terminal editor
- On editing the line type of lines, circles, ellipses and connections
- On selecting translate texts

In ELCAD 2018, the ASCII output of drawings has been extended by the option "Translate Translate References". However, this option was not available for the batch action "Output drawings as ASCII file".

If Excel files were imported via protocols and it was specified that not all columns were to be read in during that import, numerical columns with decimal places were erroneously interpreted as alphanumeric columns. Subsequently, an error message was issued that the data field types did not match, and the data was not imported.

On changing batch definitions in which the batch action "Replace Symbol Texts and Free Texts" was included, ELCAD issued an error message. Moreover, the batch definition dialog was not initialized with the existing values.

If a batch to create Compact PDF was called in a process and a path to a not yet existing folder was defined in that batch, an error occurred.
In that case, copying the already created PDF files from the temporary folder was stopped instead of the missing folder being created.

Renaming main representations by editing type 5 symbols in the drawing editing mode only worked if the option "Add New Part Numbers to Database after Editing Symbols" was set as working method for the master data. Now it works again, independent from this setting.

Reading in DXF/DWG files led to an error message "[3094] 'DXF code number missing'" if there was no ELCAD version 7.10 or older installed on the computer.

When terminal diagrams should be generated by means of the variant "Terminal Connection Diagram", an error message was issued if no diagrams existed.

If content of main representation symbols was changed from within other main representation symbols by using the function "Edit With Transfer", the status was set to "Manually", even if code numbers were changed which were not relevant for the item designation or the assignment of secondary representations.
Now, main representations keep their status if content is transferred which neither changes the item designation nor the assignment of secondary representations.

If the status list "Used Symbols" was regenerated via a process, the two options offered in the "Regenerate Used Symbols" dialog on manual execution were always active. Therefore, no differing configuration could be used via a process.

The function "Edit / Rename Designation Block" in ELCAD projects did not work in certain constellations. If "Presigns =.+-/Add Automatically" was set in the project, the function was not executed once the content of the code numbers 1, 2 or 3 was defined in the form sheet with presigns.
For the symbol type 11, the function was not executed if the content of the code numbers 1, 2 or 3 in the symbol differed from the form sheet entries.

If drawings of a project were output via "Save as/PDF/Compact PDF", the program was aborted under Windows 10 if the name of the project had the maximum possible length of 32 characters.

If multipolar symbols were placed on drawings via Autoconnect and, during the placement, the pen type was changed via the "S" key or the line type was changed via the "L" key, this change did not become effective for all connections. The same behaviour also occurred if the right mouse key was pressed during the placement and the abovementioned settings were made in the "digitalizing parameters" dialog.
