Surfcam is a powerful and affordable 3D Vero Software CAM solution that achieves the balance between feature sets and ease of use. Surfcam products have been installed on more than 26,000 systems worldwide during the past 25 years. In that time, Surfcam has grown to support 15 languages and has gained an outstanding reputation for training and providing the highest level of technical support to its customer base. Commenting on the acquisition, Richard Smith, CEO of Vero Software says, "Across the enlarged Group, the complementary products address the worldwide need for efficient and innovative CAD/CAM/CAE technology. SURFCAM is a robust, and well respected CAD/CAM system with a large number of loyal customers and knowledgeable resellers.

Following our recent European acquisition of Sescoi (WorkNC), this US acquisition is further evidence of our growing influence on the global manufacturing market. We fully recognise the importance of product branding and it is important to emphasise that we will continue to invest in SURFCAM through our new subsidiary Surfcam Inc., and welcome the existing US and overseas Surfware partners and resellers into the Vero network.

Alan Diehl and his son Larry originally founded Surfware in 1988, with Alan's other son Bryan joining the company in 1990. -64-bit Intel Pentium 4 processor (2 GHz or faster), Intel Xeon, Intel Core, AMD Athlon 64, AMD Opteron, AMD Phenom or later, in single, dual or quad core versions
-4 GB of RAM
-10 GB free disk space for the Surfcam installation
-17" Color monitor (1280 x 1024 screen resolution)
-Mouse including wheel (Intellimouse)
-SpaceMouse/SpaceBall (optional)
-Network card
-Internet Explorer 8 or above
-USB port for the Surfcam security key (unless using keyless licensing)

To make the most of background processing and multi-threading, we recommend a 64-bit operating system and 2GB RAM for each processor as a minimum.

The Live Job Reports Server does not support Windows XP or Windows Server 2003; only Vista / 7 / 8 and Server 2008 up to 2012 R2 are supported. The Live Job Reports client requires one of the following web browsers:
