ESPRIT 2017's intelligent, optimized toolpath utilizes powerful new algorithms to deliver exceptional toolpath, more reliably, with fewer clicks. Smarter toolpath in ESPRIT 2017 includes sophisticated new 3-axis steep/shallow milling for streamlined machining of complex parts, smart facing with intelligent stock management, responsive 5-axis swarf machining on a wide range of part geometries, and precise tool positioning along lathe contours regardless of insert shape.
User productivity is improved to get faster results with less effort. The steps needed to go from design to machining are simplified in ESPRIT 2017 through easier editing of features to bypass geometry you don't want to machine, automatic recognition of more details inside complex holes for better automation, and optimized wire EDM to cut awkward profiles more efficiently with new support for pocketing on open profiles.
