CAMWorks.2017 SP2 for Solid Edge
Geometric Inc., has released updated (SP2) CAMWorks 2017 for Solid Edge with significant additions to the software focusing on customer needs and worldwide manufacturing initiatives, such as Smart Manufacturing and Industrie 4.0. The new capabilities in CAMWorks 2017 are a result of more than 60 customer-driven enhancements.

What's New in CAMWorks for Solid Edge 2017 SP2
- User Interface is available in Korean and Czech languages
From CAMWorks For Solid Edge 2017 SP2, the User Interface will be available in Korean and Czech languages
- Advanced 3 Axis Toolpath Generation Method
From CAMWorks For Solid Edge 2017 SP2 version onwards, users can opt to generate 3 Axis toolpaths using either the existing method (Previous Method) or the newly introduced next generation method (Advanced Method).
Resolved CPR's
CW-74917 If an operation is copied and the tool diameter and tool comments are changed in the copied operation then, the tool comment in the parent operation also gets changed.
CW-74783 In the specific CAMWorks Virtual Machine Simulator, the user gets error messages when some of the key words are omitted.
CW-74782 In CAMWorks Virtual Machine Simulator, the ISO code of Heidenhain is not supported.
