Understanding the definition of CSEC, risk factors linked to CSEC, and connection between CSEC and community violence will enable peer counselors or anyone who provides peer support services to better serve the community and clients. It is important to remember that the needs of CSEC are very specific. Thus this course will greatly benefit those in this field of work.
