Mühendislik Terimleri

CAD:  “Computer Aided Design” açılımının tam dilimizdeki karşılığı “Bilgisayar Destekli Tasarım”. Lakin BDT kısaltması çok yaygın değil. Bilgisayar destekli tasarımda her ne kadar tasarımı yine insan yapsa da, el ile çizim yapılmadığı ve bir çok teknoloji aracından faydalanıldığı açıktır. Öyle ki, artık tasarımın bazı aşamalarında insan faktörü aradan çıkmaktadır. 3 boyutlu tarayıcılar (örnek [Misafirler Kayıt Olmadan Link Göremezler Lütfen Kayıt İçin Tıklayın ! ]) ve 3 boyutlu yazıcılar (örnek [Misafirler Kayıt Olmadan Link Göremezler Lütfen Kayıt İçin Tıklayın ! ]) artık hem daha kısa süreli, hem de düşük hata payları ile tasarımı sağlamaktadır. Sadece CAD yazılımı olan programlar olduğu gibi, sadece CAM yani imalat amaçlı yazılımlar da vardır.






CAM:  “Computer Aided Machining”, bilgisayar destekli imalat anlamındadır. CAM yazılımları tek başına çok fazla işlevsel değillerdir. İlla ki bir CAD programından gelecek yada tarayıcı verisine ihtiyacı vardır. Bazı CAM yazılımları kendi CAD bölümlerine sahiptirler. Bu bir avantajdır. Zira CAD-CAM programları arası veri aktarımı bazen sorun yaratır. Sonuçta CAD ile çizilen parçayı CAM tanırken bazı eksiklikler yaşayabilir. Bunu Türkçe bir metni yabancı bir dile % 100 çevirememek gibi düşünebilirsiniz. Torna parçaları genelde simetrik ve iki boyutlu çizilmesi yeterli parçalardır. Bu neden ile CAM denilince daha ağırlıklı olarak frezeleme ve tel erezyon için program ihtiyacı kastedilir.






CAE: “Computer Aided Engineering” kelimelerinin tam tercümesi aslında bilgisayar destekli mühendisliktir. Ancak ülkemizde bu kavram “analiz” olarak yerleşmiştir. Mühendislik kavramında günümüzde asıl önemli olan analizdir. Tasarlamak ve imal etmek yeterli değildir. Analiz daha parça veya montaj bilgisayar ekranında iken bize bir ürünün sağlam ve güvenilir olup olmadığını gösterir. Bir parça bilgisayarda analiz edilmese de güvenli olabilir. Malzeme fazla kullanılır ve emniyet katsayısı yüksek tutulur ise sorun olmaz. Yada imalattan sonra testler yapılırsa sürekli yine güvenli değer deneyerek bulunur. Ancak artık önemli olan zamandır. Zaman geri kazanılamaz. Bu neden ile üretip de, kırılıp kırılmayacağına bakmak zaman ve kaynak kaybıdır. 






RE: “Reverse Engineering” tersine mühendislik kavramıdır. Ters ile kastedilen imalat sürecinin işleme yönüdür. Normalde CAD ile çizilir, imal edilir ve sonra gereken düzenlemeler yapılır. Tersine mühendislik de ise, parçalar başka bir numuneden lazer tarayıcılar yada dokunarak koordinat ve ölçü alan cihazlar ile geometri alıp CAD ortamına çizilmiş halde aktarırlar. Tersine mühendislik otomotiv sanayide özellikle çok önemlidir.






RP: “Rapid Prototyping” hızlı prototiplemedir. Prototip, bir üründen ilk yapılan numune anlamına gelir. CAD programından yada tarayıcıdan gelen veri yani çizim ile balmumu gibi bir malzemeyi katman katman üst üste yazarak parçanın benzerini oluşturur. CNC: “Computer Numeric Control” açıklaması Bilgisayar Sayısal Kontrollü tezgahları kasteder. Geleneksel torna ve freze tezgahlarının zaman ile bugünkü bilgisayar ile kontrol edilmelerindeki koordinat değerlerinin sayısal olarak girilmesi ile CNC kavramı doğmuştur.






Bu kısa girişten sonra 2 yıl önce hazırlanmış bu konudaki en faydalı makaleye, hem de onu yayınlayan siteden link vermek daha faydalı olacaktır kanımca. Alıntı yapıp kaynak belirtmemek olmazdı
